My kids and I had a blast cutting out cookies and decorating them while talking about the letters. Great for reinforcing what they know or introducing a new letter. They are very big.I bought these to make cookies for my sister's 50th birthday party. I just got them out to start baking and the large zero is broken. It's past the return date, so I guess I'm out of luck and I have to buy another number set.I have updated my initial review of one star due to quick and full replacement. This was originally a Christmas gift for my children (2 and 4).Here was my original review: Order was missing letters B, F,G, J, M, and mini #6. Have double.of A, D, I, K, L, N. Have three mini #1. Very disappointed whomever fulfilled this doesn't know the english alphabet. No quality control.Current review: The letters and numbers are much bigger than I thought they would be but the description did say what size they were, my brain didn't register it well. We are using them for playdough so it is for the best anyway. The plastic that you use to grip is pretty thick and strong, the "cutter" part of course is thinner and has a depth of about 1/2". The letter "O" doubles as zero and the numbers six (large and small) double as nines so don't think you're missing those. I was surprised to find the numbers each came with a mini number (so two of each number a large and small) and there are something like seven symbols # = + $ - ! and ? With all of that said, my kids (2 and 4) had no problem using the cutter with their playdough and we might even make sugar cookies with them for more fun. I am pleased with the replacement, the colors are varied between yellow red and blue, the container is fairly flimsy but it is not meant as a toy so it should hold up just fine as storage if not jammed into a place where it will have weight, pressure or pokey things near it. Overall, I am satisfied (once we got the replacement).Arrived fast but some numbers are missing.Super easy to use. A little annoying to clean after use. It did come all dirty tho sos beware and clean it before use.Pay attention to the picture because that’s exactly what you get. All of the alphabet are red and yellow. All the numbers are blue. There is not an “O” that’s red or yellow. Only a blue one, which is supposed to go with the numbers. They also only give you one “6” to cover “6” and “9”. So if you have kids trying to lay out their numbers and alphabet, they may get confused on why it’s 0-8 and why we are using the blue number 0 in place of the O that’s supposed to be red or yellow like the others. Otherwise, all good so far.Overall, this is a great set. I love that the first part of the alphabet is all one color and the second is a different. It's much easier to find the letters I want. The numbers aren't too shabby, either. I really like that this set includes some punctuation and mathematical symbols, too. The biggest issue I have with it is the sharing of the 0 and the O. Because a zero is more of an oval than the letter O, it looks awkward to interchange them. And you'll notice that one picture here shows an O as the shape used to be shared, while the other shows a 0. Additionally, the smaller zero,is perfectly round, like an O, so the small and large versions of the same number do not match. M and W look more similar than O and 0, but you get a separate M and W. The smaller four looks oddly shaped, as well. Overall, though, it's not bad. Certainly not for the price! They are big and I love it! Size of my palm. I use these to help teach letters to my toddler. They make the best cookies and my toddler used them with playdo. I’m so glad we got these! We’re planning on making birthday invitation boxes with each kids name spelled out in cookies.Saw a Nigella recipe for biscuit numbers for birthdays so purchased these. Had a try out last week before the birthday and they worked perfectly. Recommend them and the recipe. They washed up easily.I received this the day after placing the order and gave it a go the same day. I have baked biscuits with both, the larger and the smaller number cutters from this set and both are great. They cut fab, the numbers with cut out bits (such as 6,8,9) cut those out completely. The sizes are great, the shapes of characters are good. This is on my list for presents for toddlers and my children's preschool and I will be recommending it to anyone who asks about it!These cookie cutters are large enough to make a good sized biscuit. The letters are all capital and there are two sizes of numbers. The dollar sign was of no use to me but the rest of the symbols can be used. I made the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY and the NAME all in cookies. The cutters are approximately 3" tall.Spent a long time looking for larger size cutters. Worth every penny, easy to use, clean. All numbers & letters included plus more.Great value for money! Really inexpensive large cookie cutters. My kid plays and learns with it as well. Use it for cookies, decorations, playdoh and kinetic sand.
