So, I have a toddler with very specific food demands. He's basically a little tyrant who makes me provide him with fun and nutritious meals everyday. You give him a sandwich cut the "regular" way and he'll shun it all day long. You cut it into circles though, and it's game on at the dinner table baby. We had been using a set of metal cutters, but they weren't holding up well and decided to go with something plastic. I was a little hesitant because I wasn't sure how they'd do cutting through a sandwich, but so far they've worked perfectly. They clean up very easily too, which is great for those days when the tyrant only wants to eat sandwiches. Tiny circle sandwiches. They also very conveniently nest into each other, which makes storing them really easy. One of these days I might even use these to, I don't know, cut out cookies or something. Maybe some salt dough Christmas ornaments? I know, I'm thinking big here.Bottom line, these things are worth the money and they work great. If you need some round cookie cutters, I think you'll be pleased. Now that I have granite counterops, I am in a constant state of paranoia that I will mar them. I bake regularly so the solution was a rol pat, a large silicone sheet made by the silpat people that is perfect for rolling out pastry. One problem: no sharp edges allowed. So my collection of metal cutters are useless. Plastic cookie cutters are not easy to find and tend to be flimsy. I like to buy something once and have it for a lifetime of use if possible. I was so pleased with these cutters that I ended up buying every shape available. With the ongoing 4-3 offer that's a free set! I love the way they stack neatly in the drawer and don't rattle around. Perfect for the motorhome, lightweight and unbreakable. They cut beautifully and the cookies come out with perfect edges, no tearing. Give them a try.LOVE THESE CUTTERS. I've been using them about 6 mos. now. I love the design and how they snap neatly into each other, love the rubberized handles for ease of cutting and handling, and the fact they are plastic means they will never rust, which was a big headache for me before with my other beautifully thin, sharp, metal cutters. The fluted edges are just the right size in that whether it be shortbread dough or biscuit dough that I'm cutting, the fluted edges stay clearly defined but aren't huge "daisy petals" either. I was worried at first about the width of the edges- they seemed so thick compared to my paper-thin, sharp metal ones, but after the first batch of shortbread dough I knew I would be just fine. All in all, it's an excellent product and very much worth the money.Using these cutters is great - they're sturdy and cut dough very well. I was concerned about cutting puff pastry with them since they are a little thicker than a metal cutter, but my puffs turned out perfectly. They get 4 stars because the smallest two snap to each other and the largest 3 snap to each other, but they don't all hold together. This isn't a huge deal - they do nest together and store in a small space - you just can't grab them and move them unless you've remembered to store them upside down. Your set might work as advertised though!I have looking to replace a similar set I had of these. I finally bit the bullet and ordered these. They're just like the original set I owned. Each cutter locks securely with the next size up. No more searching for that one size you need! The bevel is sharp enough to cleanly cut biscuit dough, but not enough to cut skin. I plan on guarding this set with my life!I live on a boat and need things that won't rust when exposed to marine air. These are perfect! They nest together, so take up very little space. They are well made plastic cutters, the handles are large enough to grasp easily, and the cutting edges are deep enough to allow you to cut not only cookie dough, but also biscuits, sandwiches, etc. I highly recommend this product!I really like these cutters they are not quite as sharp as metal cutter but they worked fine for cookies and grilled cheese sandwiches and french toast. Dont really need any more rusty cutters in my house so I'm glad to have these, the design seemed a bit confusing online but they are great and snap together for easy storageThese are very well made. They fit inside each other for easy storage. Sharp enough to go through dough, but not to where it would cut you. Mae it easy on yourself and get them, they work. This brand makes other nifty baking and cooking items that I have too. All great stuff!Great product. I have another metal set which are a pain as they are now covered in "rusty" brown marks, despite most never being used and living in their own tin! As these ones are plastic and snap together, they are much better. They also have a decent cutting edge, not so thick as to make a squish rather than a cut. We did canapes for New Year and these made the huge job much easier!A gift for a Christmas tree fan and a bonus of being Cuisipro because the storage of their cutters is made so much simpler with their interlocking snap fit! It's hard to find good quality cutters that are deep enough to use for more than thin rolled dough. There can even be used for cutting out bread slices for fancy tea-party sandwiches. These will be good for many years of use without worry of deforming as the thin metal ones do.
