VERY cool for the rat enthusiast however....You need to make the dough pretty thick as the tail portion is VERY difficult to get the dough separated from the cutter but if you make it TOO thick the rat ends up looking like it needs surgery for obesity! Very well made and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of how difficult it is to get JUST the right amount of thickness to the dough in order to get cookies that don't end up looking like the Guinness rat heavyweight world record.My wife uses copper cookie cutters as a decorating piece in the kitchen and dining room. They play well against the wall color as a border along the top. We still have more to cover but this was a fun whimsical valentines day gift. The wall still has space so we're not done yet.Due to narrowness in the toes and tip of the tail, detail will be lost if your dough is too soft or not chilled enough.Cutter is well made, durable and very pleasant to admire when not in use.The cookie cutter looked amazing, due to the band not being attached exactly caused a bit more time to make the cookies because I had to rock the cookie cutter back and forth for it to cut all the way. Other than that, they were wonderful.This makes a GREAT cookie to decorate! Originally worried if too detailed (the feet and tail) but they hold up perfectly and they were a hit with the kids! Much better design that the simpler styles out their. Bought the ghost cutter - can't wait for Halloween! I'd like to collect more from this company.I love this cookie cutter. A volunteer made elephant cookies to sell using the cookie cutter. I cut out name tags for volunteers using the cookie cutter as a template. Great fun. Good price for Amazon cookie cutterI just got the gecko cookie cutter and I'm impressed with the quality. It's really cute, just what I was looking for.
