I use these ALL. THE. TIME.The small size comes in so handy for a number of things, frying small sized things? These can get into tight spots in a frying pan without creating chaos like a large spatula, allowing for individual items to be flipped with ease. The straight sharp edge is ideal for unsticking things both when frying or baked cookies, scones, or rolls (of course I don't use non-stick pans so probably wouldn't be good with those). I bought two so I always have one in the drawer if one is in the dishwasher, and ordered them for all my friends for Christmas. It’s all one piece, nothing to break off. Couldn’t be better I don’t think. It is a good product but was surprised as to how small it was. Caught me by surprise. Would like the handle to be longer. This is the one I grab for almost all my desserts . It's small and easy to lift out pie or brownies, it's also nice enough looking to leave it on a table while entertaining. This nice little spatula is just that: little. I thought I knew what 3" wide would look like. With this spatula, it is three inches along the bottom and gets narrower toward the top, near the handle. The handle looks shorter to me than I expected. I guess I didn't know what 7" looks like. (Go ahead, guys, laugh.) My cookies are just average-sized cookies, but I know they will hang over the edges of this little spatula-----big time. Don't want that to happen.Plus, I live with three guys. This spatula would look like it belongs to an Easy-Bake oven set in their hands. I need a spatula that can lift cookies and lift an omelet and a veggie burger, too. Wrong spatula for my house. Returning it ASAP.UPDATE: Not mailing this spatula back to Amazon, because it would cost me about 60¢ less to mail it than what I spent on it. Darn it. Well. I just want to warn others that this spatula is SMALL.Jan. 30, 2015 UPDATE: Still too small, but I use it a lot. Usually with my cast iron frying pan. This little spatula does have a nice, sharp edge, so it makes it easy to use as a scraper, too. I like it. Just wish it was large enough to take baked cookies off my cookie sheet. Just a tad too tiny for that use.Pic says it all, I was looking to add another metal spatula but with a slight angle to it. I should have read information better. Cause it really is only 7”!! Will be great for my granddaughter to use, but not for me. Darn!I bought this for some delicate Florentine cookies and it worked great, but was a bit small. I think I'll save this for my grandchildren, when they come to help in the kitchen. This is a highly polished stainless spatula, with a sharp enough edge to slide under a fried egg, but the white will hang over the sides. The sharp edge is good enough to slice into brownies and bar cookies, but not sharp as a knife. I would only let my grand babies use this with my intent supervision though.I had to laugh when I saw the size of this spatula it’s tiny. This is definitely not a full-size spatula. I haven’t had a chance to try it out,not sure I’ll ever use it because if it’s size. It looks more like a toy.
